Proprietor – Malcolm Scard

History - The Critchley Dairy business was set up in 2004 as an “off shoot” from I.W. Critchley & Son, originally established by Bill Critchley in 1966 and then subsequently built up by his son Peter Critchley when Bill became ill. So for 42 YEARS this family business has operated in and around the Chorley area serving & delivering dairy products to a loyal customer base, many of whom are still our customers now.

Malcolm joined the family after marrying Margaret in 1984 and by 1993 became a member of the milk business, working for Peter. Four years ago it was time to “go at it alone” whilst retaining the “Critchley” business name, so here we are Malcolm & Margaret Scard (trading as Critchley Dairies) providing you the, the customer with reliable doorstep delivery, daily, direct to your door.
